HOLY WEEK

Holy Week is a time of tremendous historical and contemporary importance for Christians throughout the world. It is a time of profound spiritual depth and intensity, with services almost every day of the week. During Holy Week, we walk with Jesus through his final days, recalling key moments such as his triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), the Last Supper (Maundy Thursday), and his crucifixion and burial (Good Friday). Each Holy Week service plays an important role in helping us prepare to participate more fully in the joyful mystery of His resurrection, which we celebrate at Easter.

New Here?

If you are a newcomer to our church, on any given Sunday morning, the first person to offer a welcome may be an usher, but don’t be surprised if during and after the service, other parishioners approach you to wish you peace and welcome. Fill out a newcomers’ card, get on our e-mail list to receive our newsletter, The Messenger, and join us for coffee and refreshments in our Parish Hall following the service. Scripture encourages us to recognize God in every person, and everyone who enters our door is welcome and important.
